The Port of Mantoudi
Mantoudi is a small but a charming town located in the middle east of the northern part of Evia Island. The center of the town is 3 km away from the port of Mantoudi and situated inner side. You can ferry from Mantoudi port to Sporades islands, Skiathos and Skopelos/Glossa, and Volos on the mainland.
The ferries between Mantoudi and the islands, also Volos, operate regularly during the peak seasons. The itineraries from islands to Mantoudi take place once or twice in a day in summer times and take around 2.5 hours of voyage. The ferry company that serves itineraries from and to Mantoudi port is Anes Lines from which you can book a ticket for 20 euro and up. You can access to the town of Mantoudi by car through Chalkida and the distance from Athens is 145 km. You can also use buses departing from Liossion Station in Athens. The way to the Mantoudi from Chalkida (54 km) has a splendid view as if decorated with plenty of plane trees, river and bridges for a picture. You can find some attractions around the town such as Kymasi Beach and Saint John Church the Russians. Kymasi Beach is about 3 minutes from the center of the town and renown with its crystal-clear water. The Russians Church of Saint John is in the near village of Prokopi which is just 10 minutes away from Mantoudi.
